Overview
Aventus Ventures LLC, operator of clipt.ai (the "Service"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement and maintain a repeat-infringer policy as described below.
Submitting a notice of infringement
If you believe that content accessible on the Service infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, you may submit a notice using the form below or by email to support@clipt.ai with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on the Service (such as the URL).
- Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Counter-notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notification must include your physical or electronic signature, identification of the material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which you are located (or the District of Delaware if located outside the United States) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or their agent. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification we will forward it to the original claimant; absent the filing of a court action within 10–14 business days we may, in our discretion, restore the material.
Repeat-infringer policy
Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we terminate in appropriate circumstances the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Service for any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
